We're thrilled to share that Sherwin Hall has been named a finalist for the Corporate Fundraiser Award 2026 at Hope Against Cancer, and we couldn't be prouder.
Hope Against Cancer is Leicestershire and Rutland's own cancer research charity, funding pioneering research right here on our doorstep and supporting people across the region who are living with cancer. To be recognised for the part we've played in that work means a great deal to everyone at Sherwin Hall.
Why this matters to us
Supporting Hope Against Cancer has become something the whole team believes in. The Corporate Fundraiser Award celebrates businesses that go above and beyond in their fundraising and corporate social responsibility.
Being shortlisted alongside other committed local businesses is a genuine honour, and it's a reflection of an effort that reached right across our team.
Rising to the challenge
A big part of this has been our team taking on Challenge the Wild to raise funds for Hope Against Cancer. It pushed everyone well outside their comfort zone, and the certificates are now proudly displayed here at Oadby House (laminated for posterity, we might add). We're so grateful to everyone who took part, cheered us on, and dug deep to donate.
What happens next
The winner of the Corporate Fundraiser Award will be announced at the Hope Against Cancer Charity Ball on Friday 9th October 2026. Whatever the outcome on the night, being a finalist is something we're incredibly proud of, and it only strengthens our commitment to keep supporting this fantastic cause.
