Help turn a kitchen design into an installation that works in the real world. At Sherwin Hall, the detail matters: an accurate plan, a checked order and a problem spotted early can make a real difference to the customer and the people fitting their kitchen. We are looking for someone who enjoys that responsibility and wants to develop practical design and technical skills with our team.

The opportunity

This is a hands on role linking kitchen design, product specifications and order accuracy. You will produce plans, check the details before and after orders are placed, and help resolve technical questions as projects move towards installation. You will work with colleagues across design, administration and installation, learning how the whole process fits together.

What you will do

• Create and amend detailed kitchen plans using Winner design software.
• Interpret plans, measurements and product specifications, and flag anything that does not add up.
• Check orders before and after submission so the right products and details reach the right project.
• Process sales orders and keep information accurate and organised.
• Help investigate design and product queries, including practical considerations around plumbing, electrics and ventilation.
• Work with colleagues to resolve issues promptly and keep projects moving.

What you will bring

• You may already have worked in kitchen design, construction, interiors, manufacturing or a related setting. You may also be at the start of your career with strong practical aptitude and the drive to learn. A degree is not required.
• A genuine interest in how kitchens are designed, specified and installed.
• Care with measurements, details and written information, paired with the confidence to ask questions.
• An organised approach to competing tasks and a willingness to follow an issue through.
• Clear communication, a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
• Comfort using digital tools; experience of Winner or reading technical drawings is welcome, but not essential.

A permanent role at our Enderby head office, with a salary of £27,000 per year (doe), 31 days of holiday including bank holidays, and a company pension.
